An ongoing series of found landscapes, filmed on a single 8mm roll.
I am always searching for the moment where an external landscape merges with an internal one. A row of distant trees in an open field can conjure up from the depths of memory images of other trees standing in different fields. This merging of two different landscapes, the outer and the inner, the past and the present, is a fragile and almost ungraspable event. Through the medium of celluloid I try to hold on to these events. To capture some of these fleeting moments. It is a way to give them light, time and substance. A captured landscape that in itself becomes a new memory.
